ANN LIMJOCO & CHRIS FOGAL (and the WCNO team)
PSALM 126 (NLT) “When the Lord brought back his exiles to Jerusalem, it was like a dream! We were filled with laughter, and we sang for joy. And the other nations said, “What amazing things the Lord has done for them.” Yes, the Lord has done amazing things for us! What joy! Restore our fortunes, Lord, as streams renew the desert. Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy. They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.”
Today’s conversation began with Ann Limjoco joining us in the WCNO studio today to tell us about her experience at the National Mall in Washington, DC on May 17th – the day that President Trump declared to be called “Rededicate 250” to honor America’s upcoming 250th birthday with a National Prayer Meeting. There may have been in excess of 50,000 people in attendance (according to AI)
Ann wasn’t planning on going because of the cost of the trip, but a well-to-do friend asked her to go so she wouldn’t be alone. Ann was now able to go with the blessing gifted to her.
The highlight of Ann’s experience were Lou Engels and Dutch Sheets. They came forward and said for everyone to get on their knees. All go to your knees and repent individually – then you can repent for the nation. It was “Historic”. Ann says, something was set in the spirit. Lou Engels and Dutch Sheets have been laboring in prayer for this nation for over 30 years.
Ann says she never lost hope for this nation, but this day hope was reaffirmed. Believers came from all over the world! Being there was quite a sacrifice for everyone! It was very hot, and food was scarce. The day was long.
Chris Fogal arrived at 11:25 and joined the conversation. He had just returned from Washington DC having joined 500 Rabbis and Pastors to proclaim support for Israel and to do away with
replacement theology! The unity we have with our brothers and sisters in Israel is important.
The conversation continued for the rest of the hour with everyone joining in… Jonathan, Ann, Chris, Karen and David! Karen stated that the President gave the Church a chance to sit at the table. Its up to the Church now to show forth the love of Jesus!
Chris was asked about the TCCA’s recent National Day of Prayer event held on May 7. TCCA brings the leaders in the Civic, Business and Church community together several times each year for several corporate events. Each time strengthening the bonds between these different components of our Treasure Coast.
Chris, now speaking of the Treasure Coast Day of Prayer to be held on September 24th, this falls between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur – the Jewish New Year and the Day of Atonement. People see unity in the body of Christ. What we do, we do in prayer.
This year, something new will take place – a New Year’s Eve event with youthful leaders who are excited to put this together and lead the younger generation in prayer and worship.
The conversation continues for the remainder of the hour, with everyone participating in the conversation. So much was said. This is truly worth listening to again… or for the first time if you missed it!
