Psalm 139:13-16 “For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them.”
There is nothing more sacred to the Lord than life. God gives life and takes it away (1Samuel 2:6). Sue Chess is the CEO of Care Net of the Treasure Coast and the wife of Pastor Sam Chess.
Sue is in the battle to save the lives of the unborn and give hope, help, and healing to the moms and dads who find themselves pregnant, many of whom come in abortion-minded.
Today’s story is just a little bit different. Last week, the Care Net fundraising Banquet was held, and as every year one of the babies born and his/her parents are the featured family at the banquet. This year, the story is a bit different. This young couple were newlyweds, yet when she became pregnant, they became desperate and believing all of the lies, and being overwhelmed with the idea of going through pregnancy and raising a child, thought an abortion would be best. Yet, after seeing their baby in an Ultra-Sound they had a change of heart.
Sue explains how society today seems to live in a state of “overwhelming desperation”.

Sue says 52% of all abortions are in the Church!
The Keynote Speaker at this event, Roland Warren, CEO of Care Net and over about 1,200 Care Net Pregnancy Centers across America spoke of the need for Churches to acknowledge the issue of unplanned pregnancy in the Church. Jonathan stated that people in the church are ignorant and in crisis. The church needs to repent! Pastors don’t address this. Sue continues to say, that many people walk through life with depression and other issues due to having an abortion and never receiving healing, no one to talk to.

Sue spoke of the dangers of the Abortion Pill and how it even can cause death. These pills are easy to obtain. The women taking these are led to believe they are safe, yet they can be life-threatening.
The next major fundraiser coming up is the 2025 WALK FOR LIFE – OCTOBER 12, from 9 am – noon. This is scheduled to be held at the MidFlorida Event Center.
Sue is excited about the new Mobile Unit that will be delivered and in use by the end of June. This fully equipped bus ($250,000.00) was donated by Florida Pregnancy Care Network. Care Net TC will only have to provide Staff and Maintenance. Now, women will be able to obtain the help they need without having to drive to a location!
