WEDNESDAY LIVE – FEBRUARY 5, 2025 / SECOND GUESTS: PAUL MORGAN & JOHN MACMENAMIN
Psalm 98:4-6 “Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn— shout for joy before the Lord, the King.
Jonathan has know these 2 men for many years! Paul Morgan and John MacMenamin have also know each other for quite some time. They are not just friends, but Paul and John have worked together to record Paul’s music through John’s talents in his recording studio – going as far back as Paul’s first full album! There is a richness in friendship that transcends merely a working relationship.
Paul gives a bit of his testimony, whereas he became a believer in 1979. He tells a story, he could not play guitar for three or four years because of tremors in his hands. After having surgery on his right hand he could play only with that hand. Several months laterche had surgery on his left hand. God restored both of his hands and his ability to make music on his guitar.
John tells a bit of his story as well. He became a believer in 1982. He got involved with a church and became interested in the sound technology. Growing in knowledge and skill, he started his own recording studio.
As Johnathan, Paul, and John dialogued back and forth, Paul said it was his desire to write and play music for Him! He asked God, and he knew God answered him. God says, he gives you the desires of your heart.
