Christmas is a season for GIVING!

Psalm 71:9 “Do not cast me away when I am old; do not forsake me when my strength is gone.”

The Lord knows how to put together our Wednesday Live Team! Today’s guests all have something in common – they are all involved in caring for our precious senior citizens who are not able to care for themselves.

Donna True is with the Kane Center in Stuart, and the Martin County Council on Aging. Yvette Cruz is with St Lucie County Council on Aging. Antoinette Rolle is with Better Life Homecare in Ft Pierce.

The discussion encompassed many of the ways that Seniors in need of assistance can receive help from Council on Aging. Adult Daycare, Meals on Wheels, Foodbank Food Programs, Transportation, Financial Assistance, Home Assistance, and even Social Activities!

And now, in Martin County there is an all new Men Only Caregiver Support Group!

In addition, Antoinette brings to the table the Holiday Gift Giving that brings Christmas to many seniors that do not have the financial means to celebrate Christmas. One of the ways to give is with Grocery Gift Cards! Antoinette works alongside the Council on Aging in St Lucie County to solicit and provide the gifts that our seniors need!

There is so much need in our area. We the Church can step up and help our seniors in need by supporting these programs. Please note the phone numbers and weblinks below and photos posted!
