Exodus 18:21-22 “But select from all the people some capable, honest men who fear God and hate bribes. Appoint them as leaders over groups of one thousand, one hundred, fifty, and ten. 22 They should always be available to solve the people’s common disputes, but have them bring the major cases to you. Let the leaders decide the smaller matters themselves. They will help you carry the load, making the task easier for you.”
John Nelson, Families Recover joins us again today to talk of God’s great miracles! Just last week, John received four phone calls… people desperate for help!
His first call, a lady from North Miami! His second call, the person was suicidal, the third needed housing, and the forth was a lady with 2 kids needing to be freed of an abusive husband. John mentions that the week before, he received four calls.
John says, this is a Team Effort. Families Recover is connected to so many different agencies and ministries that are able to reach out to these people in need and supply the resources needed.
John says: THERE IS HOPE! We need to enjoy the fruits God’s given us today. As he told his friend with bone cancer, “Learn to enjoy one day at a time”.
