Anyone who listens regularly will recognize our guests John and Keith. John’s ministry is Families Recover, and Keith is A Street Witness. Both of these brothers have a heart for the lost and broken souls in our society and work diligently to bring hope and restoration to the least of these.
Keith began the conversation talking about the ‘little jesus’s’ that everybody seems to be passing around. (Perhaps they will be good tools on the streets?) He also shared a couple of stories with us as only Keith can.
John then took over for awhile with a story that is burning on his heart. It is the 6th anniversary of his wife Jenny dying from a drug overdose. This is a tragic story, yet it has birthed one of the most powerful ministries, saving and restoring lives – getting out of drugs and alcohol addiction, getting back into the workforce, being united to their children being restored to their moms and families going forward with the Lord Jesus in their lives!
John states that the needs are great. He says “We need affordable housing for people”. He is looking for an apartment complex, but all this takes money.
