Genesis 12: 2-3 (NLT) “…I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.”
Raleigh Washington may be known better for his involvement as President and CEO of Promise Keepers from 2008 through 2018. Today, in addition of his own ministry work, Raleigh has paired up with Messianic Worshiper and Songwriter Paul Wilbur. Raleigh will be joining Paul Wilbur and his worship team with the Treasure Coast Christian Alliance for the Treasure Coast Day of Prayer on September 25th at Palm City New Hope Church.
Paul and his team will lead us in an anointed time of worship, and Raleigh will be talking about the importance of standing with Israel.
Raleigh states that there is a spiritual dynamic that is exhibiting physical manifestations in America, where anti-Semitism has shown up again, but in greater proportions than during Hitler’s reign in Germany during world war two. Raleigh states that 21% of Americans are openly and blatantly anti-Semitic. He reasons that they do not know God’s heart, or the Bible!
Raleigh also stated that there are theological issues as well in the Christian community. Pastors and leaders and their congregants follow a new theological reformed kind of Christianity that think that the Israel of today is not the same as the Israel of the Bible. Yet, nothing was all that different then than it is now. He sites 1Kings 19:10 where Elijah says, “I have zealously served the Lord God Almighty. But the people of Israel have broken their covenant with you, torn down your altars, and killed every one of your prophets. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me, too.”
When Jonathan asked Raleigh, “What is the solution to anti-Semitism?”, Raleigh answered, genuine, bona fide relationships with God’s chosen people. He stated that the Koran promotes radical Islam. But there is One True God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Relationship Changes Everything!
Raleigh will once again be handing out the Gold Star of David to those who wish to receive one.
