Psalm 118:24 (NLT) This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.
Phillip began his interview with a Declaration that began with Psalm 118:24, and then stating “KNOW GOD AND MAKE GOD KNOWN!” You can hear the passion that he has for God’s Word and for the work that he carries on from the humble beginnings his father Lester Buttram started in 1926.
Phillip Buttram is heir to, and Director of Gospel Tract Society. Lester Buttram was seeking the Lord and heard from God a very clear instruction – “Print My Word!” The Lord also told him he was to never sell the Gospel Tracts and he was to never set a price or cost to be placed on any of the Gospel Tracts because the Good News is freely given by God. Also, Mr. Buttram was never to promote a particular denomination, church, or doctrine. Just print God’s Holy Word in plain truth.
Gospel Tract Society is now celebrating their 100th anniversary!
Phillip says, people are lost. Tracts are a good way to spread God’s invitation to salvation. You can even- leave a tip within a tract. Gospel Tract Society is an evangelistic arm of the Church. Don’t leave home without Gospel tracts. Use tracts to plant seeds.

They are republishing their “Last News” newspaper (these are articles written after the return of Jesus), many tracts for Easter for church programs, Valentine’s Day Gospel tracts showing the Love of Jesus, and… four new tracts have been written by NASA’S astronauts! These are available for you for a donation as well. Also initiated recently is their new YouTube Channel.
