Erik Dellenback – Florida Family Values, Chief Executive Officer & Chris Fogal, Treasure Coast Christian Alliance
Nehemiah 4:16-18 (ESV) From that day on, half of my servants worked on construction, and half held the spears, shields, bows, and coats of mail. And the leaders stood behind the whole house of Judah, who were building on the wall. Those who carried burdens were loaded in such a way that each labored on the work with one hand and held his weapon with the other. And each of the builders had his sword strapped at his side while he built. The man who sounded the trumpet was beside me.
Chris announced that Erik will be the Guest Speaker on September 5, 7:30 AM for the Treasure Coast Christian Alliance PASTOR & LEADERSHIP BREAKFAST to be held at Grace Emmanuel Church in Port St Lucie. Chris says we need to be equipped as Saints – to be out in front of the issues in Florida.
If you are a Pastor or Ministry Leader, you can call 772-834-5316 to learn more about this breakfast conference and to register.

Florida Family Voice exists to serve and strengthen the Church. We help families, pastors, believers, and churches across Florida speak with one unified voice on four biblical walls: life, marriage, family, and religious liberty. Through voter guides, legal briefings, biblical resources, and community outreach tools, we help pastors and believers speak truth and serve the vulnerable. Like in Nehemiah’s day, the walls are broken — but the Church is rising. When the Church is clear, united, and engaged, culture changes — and people flourish. Under his leadership, Florida has become the most faith and community-friendly state in the nation, with more than 2,200 faith institutions and 5,600 nonprofit partners mobilized to serve the most vulnerable. Working closely with First Lady Casey DeSantis, they have redefined the role of government in supporting families and communities.
Many important issues regarding life, marriage, family, and religious liberty were discussed during this interview. A couple of key points: Erik states, “We have a massive Disconnect” There are 17,000 churches in Florida, yet when important matters come up, very few people call their legislators on Biblical worldview issues. Erik founded Night to Shine, a program in which Churches could agree on Who is Lord, and to serve the most vulnerable. Erik is passionate to form a collaborative voice to change the climate.
Erik states, the point of all this is, The Church has survived for 2000 years. He says, if I were the enemy, I would want the Church to be divided. We have seen an erosion of what we know as truth. We want to make sure every pastor is equipped and educated – what is Biblical, Political, etc. Sound the alarm all of the time!
Tools are available to equip Pastors. FFV has the RED PHONE. When pastors call FFV, FFV answers. Every Pastor in our state serves as Front Line.
Eric speaks about what is happening at the statewide level. Is life something you talk about? We are not in a political season. 1) Are churches talking about Amendment 4 and the 120,000 babies whose lives were saved because it did not pass? Who are these babies? Who are these moms? What can we do? Most of the abortions are special needs children and in low income families. 2) How do you address these issues? Be ready with a sword. Think about serving. Be ready with a Sword in one hand and a Shovel in the other.
