Sue Chess, Care Net of the Treasure Coast

Psalm 139:13-14 “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

Sue Chess-Care Net of the Treasure CoastOnce again, WCNO welcomes Sue Chess to Wednesday Live. Sue is the CEO of Care Net of the Treasure Coast.

Immediately, Sue begins to tell of the 2 physical locations in Port St Lucie, and of the NEW Mobile Unit that should be available in August. Servicing Martin and St. Lucie Counties, this bus is equipped to perform Ultra-Sounds & testing for SDI’s You will recognizable this mobile unit by the specific Care Net wrapping and will have a QR Code whereby you can make an appointment with Care Net! This Bus comes to Care Net completely free and is insured! Of course, it will be Care Net’s responsibility to maintain this unit. This is truly a miracle and blessing from God, as there were 9 units available, 8 were already assigned.

Care Net Pregnancy Centers currently minister to women who are pregnant and seeking help. Some come just to confirm the pregnancy, oftentimes looking to run for abortions. Sue explains that this first visit for many of these ladies is the most critical time.

Jonathan asked Sue about the Baby Bottle Boomerang results. Sue is very positive. The goal is $100,000. and as of today, $77,000. has been received with donations still coming in – about 55 Churches took part. Next year, WCNO will be a Baby Bottle distribution center! Other Fundraising Events coming up are:

Sue now starts to speak of the most important work and needs of Care Net. She says that “What we do becomes more and more expensive”. Going on to say giving ultrasound within 24 hours of a woman discovering she is pregnant is very important! This is when she is most vulnerable to run for an abortion. Seeing her baby in her womb can change things rapidly.

CARE NET NEEDS TO HIRE A REGISTERED NURSE

Care Net will provide the training for sonography. This is a 40 hr. per week position. Perhaps the pay isn’t on the highest scale, but as Sue says, “the eternal reward cannot be beat.”

Much more was discussed regarding the increase of abortions in Florida, mostly attributed to the abortion pill. Sue spoke of the dangers and trauma to the women taking them, and also to the effects to our water systems, the environment, and our health from all of these abortions taking place in toilets.
