Interview #1 with Tim & Maria Wydro
Ezra 8:21-23 (NLT) …And there by the Ahava Canal, I gave orders for all of us to fast and humble ourselves before our God. We prayed that he would give us a safe journey and protect us, our children, and our goods as we traveled. For I was ashamed to ask the king for soldiers and horsemen to accompany us and protect us from enemies along the way. After all, we had told the king, “Our God’s hand of protection is on all who worship him, but his fierce anger rages against those who abandon him.” So we fasted and earnestly prayed that our God would take care of us, and he heard our prayer.
The New Year is a way for many people to “begin again”… begin a new exercise program, diet, Bible reading regimen or something other. Consider beginning the year with Fasting and Prayer! Only something good can come from this if you pursue the Lord through Fasting and Prayer.
Tim and Maria Wydro came into the WCNO studio today and presented in depth, the “21 DAY DANIEL FAST. Maria developed this Workbook to walk you through a method of Fasting and Prayer that makes it not only simple but enjoyable!
WCNO is partnering again, for the 5th year, to begin the 21 Day Daniel Fast” tomorrow, Thursday, Jan 9. Maria walked us through a STEP BY STEP – what to do every day using the Workbook. She explained the Sections of the book, each one’s purpose and how to use it, the last one being the Tool Box, which contains Menu Ideas, Bible Study Ideas, etc.
Tim shared a powerful testimony of the one and only time he became sick a couple of years ago. He fell into a serious depression and anxiety which went on for about 2½ years! Tim said that after he had lost 40 lbs., it was time for him to ‘reset’. Maria spoke of the doctor telling her she had 25% of her heart at the bottom had hardened and was not pumping blood.
We can be “communing with the Lord” but if we aren’t seeking Him with all that we have, all that we are, we can still fall into the trap of satan. Once Maria confessed that she had hardened her heart, the healing began! As Tim and Maria sought the Lord and prayed through their needs, they were both healed of their diseases
Jonathan said, instead of focusing on telling God about your problem. Focus on telling your problem about your God!

Interview #2 with John Nelson
Matthew 25: 37-40 “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’”
John Nelson is a long-standing friend of WCNO 89.9 FM. He has been a Partner with WCNO for 4 years, now. John believes that dollar for dollar, advertising on WCNOI is the place to be.
